Hey peeps! I’m back after a few days of not posting! Not everything is about blogmas anymore though, sorry! π
I’ve been meaning to get this post out for a while now. Thank you Nathalie for tagging me for this challenge!! I was actually tagged over Instagram but I figured it would be better to put this on my blog π If you want to check out Nathalie’s page, you can do so at https://brysalie.wordpress.com! Also her Instagram is worth taking a look, she’s such a sweet girl who takes amazing pictures!!Β
1. I was born in the Philippines
I don’t know if I already threw this fact out in my previous tag posts but whatever. I am Chinese and Filipino and was born in the Philippines! I moved with my family to the United States at the age of 6. Unfortunately I don’t remember too much of what life was like in the Philippines, and unfortunately I feel like I’ve lost touch with those roots (It’s funny, I can’t relate to people here but I feel like I don’t belong among other Filipinos / Filipinas!). I can only speak broken Tagalog, and Fookien (we are actually Mandarin, but we speak mainly Fookien or Fujianese) is even bigger of a challenge to me. I can, however, understand both languages! I really would love to re-learn to speak both languages one day.
2. I really enjoy art
If I had to go back to school, I’d probably go to Graphic Design and Marketing or something like that. I took Graphic Design when I was in high school, and IΒ really enjoyed it!! Things came to me easily, and I was able to understand concepts fairly easily without trying too hard to memorize (unlike everything else in school). I LOVED making vinyl stickers or vinyl tees and I loved messing around with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I decided against pursuing Graphic Design in college because I wanted something more secure and higher paying for my future, as well as plentiful in my area (just to let you know, I live in a rural-ish place so skilled trades like welding, carpentry, and agricultural work is much more plentiful here).
3. I constantly change my vision of my future
In the past, I’ve had dreams of opening my own nail salon (I LOVED doing my nails and making different designs on them. I’m not as into it anymore as I was back in high school). One day, I dreamt of having my own business selling lip balm and body care items. Another day, I dreamt of making a living off of streaming games on Twitch (HA). I dreamt of having my own Youtube channel and making it big that way. I dreamt of having a blog and making a full time income off of it. Now, I’m also dreaming of making and selling my own coloring book (it would be AMAZING if I could also get it printed hard copy too!!) and making a stationary business in part with my blog. I’m a bit all over the place, but for now, my dream of making my blog a source of income and the dream of the coloring book and stationary business are what I’d like to pursue! I’ll keep you updated on how I’m doing with those ππ
4. I prefer shoe shopping over clothes shopping
I never really liked clothes shopping (probably because all I can afford is to look through the stupid clearance racks where I struggled to find something in my size and something I liked). I mean, shoes aren’t all that cheap either but I LOVE IT! I’ve lost count over how many pairs of shoes I have; it’s safe to say between 30-40 pairs. If you read my boyfriend tag, my boyfriend Victor said it was a “weird” obsession. He hasn’t met or spoke to other girls, apparently.
5. I HATE PHYSICS!!!
I hate physics with a passion. I never did really well with Physics in school and if I did, I struggled… a LOT. I attended tutoring during my first year of college and it was still so hard for me. This was one of the big things that contributed to my constant severe panic attacks! If I have to take another class of Physics, just fail me.Β

Oh my goodness, thanks for the tag!
That’s really neat that you were born in the Philippines – do you ever visit?
No problem Mykki!! I haven’t visited the Philippines since I was like 8 or 9 years old unfortunately! I would LOVE to go back soon to visit my relatives though π
Loved reading your answers and learning more about you! I hated physics too!π
Yay thank you Ellen!! I am happy I found someone to share my hatred for physics with! π
I had no idea you were half Chinese!! And I can’t believe that it’s only been recently that I’ve seen your amazing art. And I get you so much with constantly changing your vision, same here. But please keep us updated with it, I know you’ll be so amazing and whatever you end up doing. And I hate physics too!!!!
Hehe YES! π It’s interesting how some people I meet will see my Chinese side and some others see my Filipino side π I get so mad at myself for not being able to settle on one friggin goal or idea of what I want to do!!! I just want to be done already haha. Will totally keep you updated with the art!! π YESS come to the dark side where we hate Physics π
Great facts, love learning more about people! Yass I am very much looking forward to your stationary business I’m gonna buy everythingggg. I actually thought about being a game streamer at one point lolol, but then I realised I’m not amazing at playing games and I get scared of the silliest things like I freak out playing Tomb Raider hahaha.
Chloe xx
Aaaahhh you have no idea how that makes me feel normal π π€£ I get so scared so easily, but I hear a lot of people are interested in seeing chickens play games π I prefer casual games! Yayayay I’m so happy! I’ve got more Xavier drawings coming up! π
It’s really cool that you can understand multiple languages! I wonder how hard it would be for you to re-learn them, since you can already speak them. I’ve also had the dream of streaming on Twitch! I actually still have that dream. Hahaha. And I also am not a physics person. At all!

Wow it’s great to learn we have some stuff in common! I still have the dream of streaming too, it’s just… not as strong as my dream for my blog right now!! Just because I am seeing some slow progress with it, whereas I can’t stream due to bad internet + PC! I would really hope it won’t be too hard for me to relearn the languages! π
I love that you’re always changing your ideas for the future- I’m the same and its good to hear that I’m not alone- I always feel so indecisive! This is such an interesting post

ahh thank you love! It’s sometimes like a tug of war and it gets so confusing!
It’s totally okay to take a little break :). Oh man, I can relate to you about speaking a language brokenly (totally me with canto). PRetty cool that you know Fookien. It’s always good that you’re changing your vision of your future. Thanks for the tag!!! Merry Christmas!

Ahh I didn’t realize you were canto! It’s a struggle π« no problem gurl can’t wait to read yours! Merry Christmas! βΊοΈ
That’s so cool that you can understand more than one language! Your colouring book and stationary business sounds so exciting, I hope you achieve your dreams! I’m such a stationery addict, I can’t wait to see what products you make. I’m always changing my mind as to what I want for my future too, I think it is fun to explore different things to keep life fresh and interesting. Thanks for sharing Geraldine, really enjoyed reading this post and hope you have a wonderful Christmas <3 xx

Thank you so much Bexa βΊοΈβ€οΈ I’m super excited for the stationery business as well, I never thought that stationary was this exciting until I actually started blogging and needing these things to write on! So hopefully others will like it just as well π I do agree that things can get a bit interesting and exciting when they change! I’m just someone who likes to know what will happen and when so it gets a little overwhelming and frustrating when things don’t go my way π wishing you happy holiday! π
I’m sure your colouring book will be great!
Loved reading your answers π€
Thank you so much Marie, I can’t wait to show you gals! π€
good tag π
Thank you!
Love reading posts like these, I feel like I get to know people a bit better and I love that! I’m right there with you on the changing your dream for the future all the time, I don’t even know where I wanna be in 10 years time! And I think I hat both shoe shopping and clothes shopping equally!
I can’t tell you where I’d be in 10 years either, I’m not quite sure what my future will look like in a year too π€£π€£ I’m so glad you liked it! You’re one of the few that I know now that hates shoes shopping! π
This is so interesting , I also hate physics like I failed physics constantly in high school and wouldnβt dream of that happening again. Glad Iβm not really in that part anymore , I prefer to manage chemistry than to battle with physics . Itβs a hassel . Great post .
Thank you so much for reading! I definitely would choose chemistry over physics any day! π
Nice to meet you…Merry Christmas!!!
Nice to meet you Tony! Merry Christmas! xx
I heavily relate to number 3. I wanted to be one thing for years then since I decided I didn’t want that I’ve been all over the place. Good to know I’m not the only one. I always hated physics too x
